December silver tumbled 88 cents, or 8%, to $10.18 an ounce.
Silver volumes were low although it managed
almost 40 c at the open in Asia , to as high as $ 11.10.
A few attempts to push silver above $ 11 failed and it
fell to $ 10.71 in New York.However buying at the
close pushed silver over $ 11 to $ 11.04.
US Retail sales data for Sptember is an important
data to watch for.
