Silver dropped 50 cents shortly after opening
in Tokyo to trade at $ 9.23.
Alhough support returned just before London markets
opened , the moves lacked conviction and the metal
traded between $ 9.30 and $ 9.60 in New york after
opening in the $ 9.30 level , strong buying pushed
the metal quickly higher to the closing bid of $ 9.71.
