March silver futures rose 17 cents to end at $10.98 an ounce.
Silver initially garnered support in Asia rising from $ 10.71
to $ 11.04 before slipping to $ 10.82 .
It rose again in London as the dollar weakened further.
After spiking to $ 11.26 in Newyork the metal eased
to $ 10.80 at the close.
